ASHBROOKE have won the 2008 competition narrowly beating KINGS ARMS 38-37 in the final.

In a see-saw battle the Kings Arms were two points ahead with one question remaining for each team. Ashbrooke correctly answered their question correctly, but with tension mounting the Kings failed on their own, which Ashbrooke then answered correctly for a bonus & avoid a tie break situation.

Commiserations to the Kings Arms, for coming so close.

Note: The top four teams qualify for the semi finals. Although Museaum Vaults recorded a higher average score over the qualifying period, The Stables go through to the semi finlas by virtue of having scored more points on quiz nights when BOTH teams were playing.
